At M.K. Hair Studio & Barber, we value your time and our stylists’ time. Our policies are designed to keep appointments running smoothly, provide fair scheduling for all guests, and ensure our team can give each service the attention it deserves.

By booking an appointment with M.K. Hair Studio & Barber, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Appointments & Booking

Appointments are reserved specifically for each guest and service. Please provide accurate contact information when booking so we can reach you regarding your appointment.

Certain services, including color corrections, major color transformations, and other extended or high-value services, may require a consultation before an appointment can be confirmed.

Prices may vary depending on hair length, density, condition, service complexity, product usage, and the amount of time required. When appropriate, your stylist will discuss pricing with you before beginning the service.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service.

For certain extended, high-value, or specially reserved appointments, a deposit may be required at the time of booking. Deposits may be applied toward the scheduled service and may be forfeited if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled outside the applicable cancellation window.

We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances can happen. Cancellation fees may be waived at management's discretion when circumstances reasonably warrant an exception.

No-Show Policy

A no-show is an appointment where the guest does not arrive and does not contact the salon before the scheduled appointment time.

No-shows may be charged up to 50% of the scheduled service price.

Repeated no-shows may result in a deposit or prepayment requirement for future appointments, or the salon may decline to accept future reservations.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arriving late may reduce the amount of time available for your service and may affect the services that can reasonably be completed.

If you are 15 minutes or more late, your appointment may be treated as a walk-in or may need to be shortened, modified, rescheduled, or cancelled depending on the schedule and service requirements.

If a late arrival prevents the stylist from providing the originally scheduled service, the appointment may be rescheduled and a cancellation fee may apply.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate late arrivals when the schedule allows, but we cannot guarantee that the full service will be completed when a guest arrives late.

Service Satisfaction & Adjustments

We want you to feel confident and happy with your service. If you have a concern about a service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can understand the concern and determine an appropriate resolution.

When a service adjustment is appropriate, we may offer a complimentary correction or adjustment with the original stylist or another stylist selected by management.

Service adjustments are intended to address concerns with the original service and are not intended to provide a completely different service or change of mind after the appointment.

Because hair services can vary based on hair history, condition, texture, previous color, and the desired result, results cannot always be guaranteed to exactly match a reference photo or expectation.

Refund Policy

Payments for completed salon services are generally non-refundable.

If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us promptly so we have an opportunity to evaluate the concern and, when appropriate, provide an adjustment.

Refunds are not generally issued simply because a guest changes their mind after a service has been completed.

Retail product purchases may be subject to a separate return or exchange policy.

Deposits & Prepayments

When a deposit or prepayment is required, the amount and applicable terms will be communicated at the time of booking.

Deposits may be applied toward the final service balance. Deposits may be forfeited when an appointment is cancelled late, rescheduled outside the applicable cancellation window, or missed without notice.

Pricing & Service Changes

Quoted or starting prices are based on the information available at the time of booking. Final pricing may change when additional time, products, length, density, corrective work, or additional services are required.

If a significant change in price is expected, your stylist will discuss the additional service and pricing with you before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.

Consultation & Color Services

Certain color and chemical services require a consultation to determine whether the requested result is appropriate for the guest's hair.

Previous color, chemical treatments, box dye, henna, medications, heat damage, hair condition, and other factors may affect the achievable result, service time, and price.

For major transformations or corrective services, multiple appointments may sometimes be necessary to reach the desired result while maintaining the integrity of the hair.

Service Timing

Appointment times are estimates and may vary based on the service, hair condition, consultation requirements, and other factors.

We reserve the right to modify the service when necessary to protect the condition of the hair or to provide a safe and appropriate result.

Children & Additional Guests

For safety, comfort, and space considerations, guests should limit additional companions whenever possible.

Children receiving services must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult when appropriate. Children who are not receiving a service should remain supervised at all times.

Personal Belongings

Please keep personal belongings with you or in the designated area provided by the salon. M.K. Hair Studio & Barber is not responsible for lost, damaged, or unattended personal belongings.

Right to Refuse or Modify Service

M.K. Hair Studio & Barber reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service when necessary due to safety concerns, inappropriate conduct, significant lateness, hair condition, or circumstances that prevent the service from being performed appropriately.

Policy Exceptions

We understand that circumstances vary. Management may make reasonable exceptions to these policies based on the circumstances of an individual situation.

Repeated violations of salon policies may result in additional booking requirements or restrictions on future appointments.

Agreement

By booking an appointment with M.K. Hair Studio & Barber, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with the salon's appointment, cancellation, no-show, late-arrival, payment, and service policies.

These policies may be updated periodically to reflect changes in salon operations.
